Jailbreak iOS 7.1.1 with Pangu

Yes you've read the headline right, there is in fact a brand new way to jailbreak every single version of Apple's firmware now. This new release called Pangu was rather impromptu and there were one of two controversies which put some people offer. But we are happy to report that it really does make sense now to upgrade to iOS 7.1.1 and jailbreak using Pangu.

The Chinese group that created Pangu caused a bit of uproar when they decided to include a generally unwanted bolt-on in the form of the PPSynch tool. This caused lots of trouble with various app crashes and reboots, but thank to a quick fix from seasoned developer Karen Tsai, the issue was quickly eradicated. We are here to tell you today that Pangu is safe and where possible you should updated from Evasi0n 7.0.x.

Apple's latest stable firmware release is iOS 7.1.1 and it also offers some great performance enhancements. If you have been holding off for fear of losing your jailbreak, you can now upgrade and dive straight in with Pangu. As well as bug fixes, iOS 7.1.1 offers better performance especially for older devices. Whilst Pangu did include some rather unstable software and there was lots of talk about malware, it has been confirmed by MuscleNerd and iH8sn0w that Pangu is safe to use. IH8sn0w also confirmed that this is no spyware or malicious trails and this was made public on his twitter feed.
