Apple released two versions of iTunes just the other day. The first one is the final public version of iTunes 11.0.5 and the other is iTunes 11.1 beta 2 which is for developers only. The first release, iTunes 11.0.5, is a minor release which fixes the issue with iTunes in the Cloud that many were experiencing. The second release is beta 2 for iTunes 11.1 which is for developers only and features the same fix and includes the new iTunes radio.
The first beta version of iTunes 11.1 was released at the end of last month and brought with it iTunes radio for Mac OS X users. This allows users in the US to discover great new music and to work it requires OS X 10.7 or later. This latest beta is likely going to be the last build before the public seed which Apple will release along with iOS 7 next month. Apple is rumored to be holding an event on the 10th of September to announce their new iPhone.
You can now download iTunes 11.0.5 for both Windows and Mac. The iTunes 11.1 beta 2 release can only be downloaded from the Apple Developer Center and you will need to be a registered member in order to get your hands on any of the iTunes, iOS, OS X or Safari betas. As always in the run up to any Apple event we will be keeping you updated on any further information that we receive.
