Since the release of iOS 7 is set for the 18th of September, the next big questions on everyone's lips is whether or not there will be an iOS 7 jailbreak. Well we are happy to report that there is some good news on this front and Pod2g has confirmed that work is ongoing on a jailbreak for iOS 7.
In a tweet by Pod2g, who is a prominent member of the Evad3rs team, it was stated work is ongoing as regards having a jailbreak for iOS 7. Apple seeded iOS 7 GM download to developers last week and this saw the Evad3rs team actively begin their investigations into the final version of iOS 7 to see which of their exploits worked and which ones didn't. Judging by Pod2g's tweet, progress is definitely being made and if you are someone who is looking forward to a jailbreak on Apple's latest firmware release then this really is good news.
We should also mention, that if you are currently using a jailbreak on iOS 6 and you want to keep your untethered jailbreak, you should refrain from updating to iOS 7 when Apple releases it later this week. Despite progress being made on the the jailbreak for iOS 7, there is no ETA on its release and everyone is advised to wait for more confirmation before updating their software.
As with all new releases of Apple's iOS, we do have to be patient and hope that a jailbreak will be released as quickly as possible. The good news for everyone is that it is being actively worked on and we will be bring you the updates as soon as we get them.
