Download iOS 7 Beta 5 For iPhone 5, 4S, iPad and iPod Touch Now

After the security breach in Apple's developer site, things were a little up in the air with regards to iOS 7 betas. We saw iOS 7 beta 4 make an appearance a week later than expected but now the fifth beta is here. Changes for this beta include the usual array of bug fixes and performance enhancements which we will explain below.

The beta stage of any software always generates a lot of interest and iOS 7 is no different. In fact, it has gotten more attention than any of its predecessors. Not all the changes to iOS 7 have been aesthetic and so far we have seen plenty of alterations and improvements to general functionality. Many of the long standing gripes within the OS have also been addressed. The lack of a basic set of toggles for easy management of settings has commonly been quoted by many as the primary reason for wanting a jailbreak so badly and now that this has been rectified with Control Center, the SBSettings Cydia tweak seems redundant.

Other key changes have included the expansion of the folder system that was first introduced with iOS 4 and with iOS 7 promises a better all round experience for everyone. All these new beta bring their own features and we cannot wait to see iOS 7 released in all its glory which will presumably happen alongside the next iPhone.

If you are a registered developer and you want to get started with iOS 7 beta 5, you can do it the usual way. If you haven't tried it yet and want to see what all the fuss is about, you will need to sign up for a developer account and take it from there.
